Dr. Winchester, a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, has been practicing in Birmingham for over 20 years. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Winchester developed expertise in breast surgery and needle biopsy techniques through additional specialized education. A member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Diseases, she considers it vital to be aware of any new techniques that could be provided to her patients.
